“ On our way back to Florence, we discovered a small, owner-operated restaurant. The attention to detail was impeccable, and we couldn't fault the food. We thoroughly enjoyed every course on the tasting menu, opting for the mixed option. They offer both fish and meat tasting menus as well as a la carte, which is a great idea. The wine selection was excellent, and the plating details were amazing. With only 22 seats, it's an intimate setting, so we recommend booking in advance. The restaurant is hidden in the mountains, and the drive might be disappointing if you arrive and there's no table available. The owner rarely accepts walk-ins. ”

“ Cosy dining place in a heart of San Miniato. A bit more expensive restaurant with tasty food, that is well presented and in a not too big portions. Even though restaurant was full, did not need to wait too long and the staff was super friendly and helpful. ”

“ We had diner at this nice restaurant. Beautiful plated dishes that tasted good. The service was good with a kind host that had interesting info about the food and wine. He seemed to have passion about it. However, at the end we waited a long time to get the bill because the host was talking a long time to other costumers. That was a minor point of improvement. Overall good price and quality. ”

“ Ok, can I just say this was the BEST meal we had in Italy! No lies here, it was that good. This tiny restaurant in this super cute teeny tiny Tuscan hillside town literally has like 20 seats, if that and like most Italian restaurants, they only do 1 cover per table per night so you're sitting there for like 3-4 hours. I honestly don't understand how they earn any money but I'm so glad we got to eat here. I was worried we weren't going to be able to find a decent restaurant anywhere given we went on one of the busiest weekends of the year, the Truffle Exhibition and didn't make any reservations ahead of time. That said, as I mentioned, it was truffle season, which means we had the chef shave that on EVERYTHING! WORTHEVERYDAMNPENNY! Chef and his team were amazing, such a nice guy. I feel bad I don't remember his name, but he gave every table a lot of attention, maybe for us just a teensy bit more because we're foreigners and we asked him to make it rain truffles on all of our courses. I think he was excited to talk to us since we're from the states and it's obvious we were excited about his menu and about his work. Every course was a nod to traditional Tuscan cuisine, but with a modern upscale approach. Not one bad dish, all were excellent and worth admiring before digging in. I was so full at the end, almost barely made it out of there with my pants intact. The end of a perfect overnight trip to San Miniato. This town has my heart and this restaurant was a big reason why. ”

“ Best meal i have had in Italy so far this trip. Not an overally expensive well curated meal. Owner operated (Fredarico) was amazing and did such a good job. Food was amazing, highly recommend in this small sleepy town. My Gluten Free Girlfriend allso had an unreal experience where she was taken care of extremely well. Just WOW. Left here smiling, full, and tipsy of done delicious well curated wine. Something here for everyone(if you like good food) ”

“ We enjoyed a delicious meal here last Monday. From the amuse bouche to the cheese selection starter and the chicken roll with broccoli and creamed potatoes topped with truffle everything was exceptional. Frederick who was front of house was very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable and guided us in our choice of local wine. Luca in the kitchen did a wonderful job too. Would definitely reccomend a visit. It's small so probably advisable to book as it was almost full on a Monday night. ”

“ Everything was just excellent. You can see and feel that they really have passion for good food and wine. Everything was just perfect with our visit, food was absolutely delicious, service was great and geniuine and the atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely! I haven’t visited every restaurant in San Miniato but I still dare to say this is the best one! I strongly recommend this place for everyone, but especially if you want to spend lovely evening surrounded by amazing food: try the tasting menu. It won’t leave you hungry and it is amazing. ”
